entered the Territory for the purpose
of interesting capital In their project
for the development of oil to partially
supply the enormous consumption 01
oil when onco adopted as a fuel.
The company has been duly incor
porated under the laws of the State of
California, with a capital stock of
$300,000 divided Into 300,000 shares at
a par value of $1 per share. The ofil-
cers and directors of the company aro
men well known In business circles on
tho Mainland. Briefly stated the above
company controls a tract of land In tho
famous Coallnga oil district In Fresno
county. Cal.. and In order to develop
their lands are now offering to the gen-
eial public 23,000 shares of tho capital
stock for the purpose of erecting the
