About 1 p. m. the party was served i
with n very nice luncheon nt the resi

which flme music was rendered by the
Krdnupapa baud, and Quintet. After
the luncheon the members 01 the lloard ,

In Hawaiian and then reread In En-

tho scarcity of water, and asked the

and further said there was no com

an Increase In their allowance of pol.

tho supply of pol, there had been
somewhat of n famine, nnd the Hoard

lepers presented complaints, uhlclr
were almost enthely on tho ni.cstlnn'bf
water. A few complaints were lodged
against Supt. C. II. Reynolds for his
fitllurp to move ono or two houses, also
to have some stones hauled that there
might be some fences built In certain
parts of tho settlement. When the
complainants were questioned by Dr.
Sloggett It was learned that no request
bad yet been made to the superinten
dent for these things, but they wero
nbout to do so. Supt. Reynolds seems
to bo held In very high esteem by the
lepers, and from all the writer could
learn was doing all that was nskcl of
him. I)r, SlnVgett spoke to tho pet
