the negotiations bad not progressed
further owing to tho absence on tho
Mainland of 0. M. Cooke, who holds
the first Issue of a half million, and
through whom arrangements must bo
mado for the proposed Increase to
lino million. The plan Is to retire tha
old bonds and make a now Issue,
which would bo of the larger amount.
This will require the consent of tho
present first mortgage bondholders
