June 14. "The liveliest live exhibit ut

spoke Vnn E. House, the Colorado

ing his visit to St Louis this week with
the Colorado World's Pair Commission,
of which he Is an actlvo member "The
world generally knows that ns n mining

to bring his bees to the World's Pair,
and they will work here from the time
the Exposition opens until It closes,
Mr. Hw Ink's plan, which will cost fully
$10,000 of his own money, Is to bring
to St. Louis enough beehive; to con

the Colorado State House at Denver.
Tho bees will then be turned out to find
material for hone) -making In the
country surrounding the World's Fair
grounds. It will require about GI0
hives to construct the little Statci
House and In It about five and one-half
million bees will work. It will be n

Croker's visitor sajs he has no doubt
that It Is tho foimcr Tammany chief's
serious Intention. He describes Cro

Intense evn violent for a man of his
self-control. Croker talked n long tlmo

In tho section where are located the
Mammoth and Rockford group of
claims, ond where the most promising
showing In the district Is made. Devel

the claims In that section "go down,"
that Is, the ledges Improve in size and
richness with depth. As the formation
is very similar over the entire gold

looked upon as assuring tho contlnult)

of the ledges havo been uncovered a
