work which deserves to be mentioned.
They havo painted the roofs of tho
school houso and tho cottage, white
washed tho board fences, repaired ths
stone fences, and other such work to
beautify tho school premises. Tho car
pentry' class have dono some repair
on tho cottago.
As tho teachers have'becn requested
to bo oooscrvatlvo In their requests for
material 1 have hesitated to ask thc,do
partment to furnish mo with material
for manual work, but If you can pos
sibly furnish me ten or fifteen dollars
wqrlh of manual kindly Inform mo
nnd I shall write tho list and forward
It to you.
