Tho Washington's birthday celebra
tion wound up yesterday with dancing,
At the Royal Hawaiian Hotel an In
formal reception was held early In tho
evening by the parade officials. Judge
nnd winners of prizes. A promenado
concert by the Hawaiian band follow,
cd. Then the Ellis Quintet played,
stationed In a specially constructed
stand, while dancing proceeded on both
broad lanals. Tho grounds wcro bril
liantly lighted and numbers ot tho
decorated uutos which took part In tho
day's procession were to bo seen thore.
Princess Kuuanannkoa was present,
ns were alio tho Oregon girls.
At the Young Hotel alio festivities
wcro full of delight. There were many
dancers nnd sweet music. The roof
garden was crowded with promenailera.
