REFUND
Washington, Feb. ?, '07
To Governor Carter.
House Committee reported
House the Refund Bill as passed by Senate.
Kuhio.
Text Of Refund Bill
Reported To House
r
The report ns originally sent out this morning regarding the Re
fund Hill wns that it had passed the House. This seemed almost too
Kooil to be true, and afterward so nroved. Yet much has been gained.
The bill 1ms been leported favorably to the House, and it is now distinct
ly "ii to the members of the House and Uncle Joe Cannon.
The cable on the harbor appropriation shows that the House in pass
im' the River and Harbor Bill did not reduce the $800,000. total for the
linrliors of Hilo and Honolulu, as annroved by the Committee.
According to Kuhio's cable, th: House Committee approved the bill
passed by the Senate at its last session. The text of this bill follows i
