tact, commanding universal respect
for the ideals which sho represented.
Mother Castle Is no more, hut her

An effort Is being made with the

tee, to Induce, the business houses of
tho city to close next Saturday aft
ernoon In order to allow their em
ployees to bo present nt the regatta
at Walklkl. This event Is given In
honor of tho visitors from Los An
geles, nnd Bhould therefore, It for no
other reason, be well attended.
Whllo every citizen who has the
opportunity should turn out on that
day, it would seem to be up to the
business men to be especially well
represented. Tho Ohio paity repre
sents the Los Angeles Chamber of
Commerce and kindred organizations.
They are the guests of the Territory
