other articles for the sale of which a license by law is provided
and requited. Any person who shall sell goods, wares or mer
chandise without a license under this Act, or who, holding sudi
ieeno, shall sell any article not permitted by such lieen-e to
be sold shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction
theicof be fined iu a sum not exceeding One Hundted Dollais.
"Section 1 11811. Pi milium. Tho annual fee for 11 license
to peddle merchandise shall be Fifty Dollars; ptoviding that
no liceno lie required of persons peddling fish, fieh fruit or
vegetables. A license to peddle mcichaudic shall authorize
the holder thereof to peddle only in the County which is named
in tho license.

poison, fum or eorpm.ition a license) to maintain and operate
a laundry, dicing or cleaning or etycing and cleaning works

set forth in the license. Any such license shall not bo issued
except upon a certificate of the Boatd of Health setting forth
that the location at which it is proposed to operate such laun
dry, (tycing or cleaning or etycing and cleaning works is suit
able for the put pose. The annual fee for a license for either
11 laundry, dve-ing or cleaning or etyoing and cleaning works
shall be Tvveiity-tivo Dollars."

Tie.isniy of the Tenitoiy a sinking fund with which to pay
any preent or futuie bonded indebtedness of the Territory, and
upon one vear fiom date of any tenitorial bond issue heieaftci
made, whether same is a lefuuding bond issue or othoiwi-e,
and theieafler annually until all of the lsnids of such issue
have been calleel iu, he- shall tiaiisfer from the euiient iceeiplt
of the Tenilory and deposit to the ciedit of said sinking fund
such 1111 amount of money as will, compouded annually at thu
tale of iuteiest specified iu the bonds of such issue, amount in
the unexpired teini theicof to tho full face value of such bond
issue.
The Tieasuier shall 11U0 deposit to the ciedit of said sinking
fund, iiniiii'diately upon the ucvipt theicof, all compensation
icceivcd fiom any of the counties or municipal divisions of
Ihe Tenilory in p.ivmint for public improvements tr.insfcned
by the Teiritory to the -.lid counties or uiiinicip.il subdivisions
of the' Teiritory.
The Tieasuier shall also deposit to the ciedit of said sinking
fund, immediately upon the leeeipt theicof, all leceipts fiom
government laud sales made bv the Supeiintendent of Public
W'oiks.
Except as piovided by this Act, such sums so deposited as
nfnifsiiid shall be used for the ledemptiou or puichaso of any
outstanding Territorial bonds and shall not be held exclusively
for the ledemptiou or payment of the bonds used as a basis for
the annual deposits.
The Auditor of tho Tenilory shall open and keep in bis
books a separate and' special account of this fund, which shall
be known as the Sinking Fund Account ami which shall at all
times show the exact condition theicof.
Sie'iiox 2. Whenever tho sum on deposit to the ciedit of
said sinking fund is siillicieut, the Tieasuier nitty ledecm one
or mine bonds; piovided, however, that ptior to such ledemptiou

lished in Honolulu, and iu places other than Honolulu wheiu
