Providing that no now- cases of tho
cholera should develop beforo 9
o'clock tomorrow morning the quaran
tine on tho shipments ofbananas and
plneapiflcs will be taken off at that
tlmo with certain restrictions. Tho
Qualifications to this rulo are that all
produce must bo packed on the planta
tions and hauled from there direct to
tho stoamer in tho unbroken package.

tho quarantine ofllclals had decided to
tnko tho above action on, account of
the hardship tho existing laws wero
causing on tho shippers and on ac
count of tho fact that 1G days had
elapsed slnco tho enso was discovered
and no serious ones had followed.

send bananas or pineapples away to
ship them on tho Alameda, which Is
