death was entirely unexpected. Ho

Wundcnbcrg Honolulu loses ono ot
her kamaalnas and a prominent flg
uro In tho financial circles of the
city. Ho was tho son of Godfrey
Frederick Wundcnbcrg, and was
born at Hnnnlcl Juno 23, 18C0. Ho
wag educated In tho Schools ot Ha
waii, finishing at I'unahou. In 1851)
his family removed to California, but
ho returned three months later and
has been a resident of Hawaii over
tinco, with th exception of n short
time which ho spent In California
after ho had become persona umi
grata on account of alleged complic
ity In tho revolution of 1905.
For a long time ho was In tho cm-
ploy of Castlo & Cooke, later enter
ing tho employ of Davlcs & Co. In
1880 ho was mado Postmaster Gen
eral of tho Kingdom, holding thnt
post for llvo years. During 1891 and
92 ho was n clerk In tho Judiciary
Mr. Wundcnbcrg was married In
1900 to Miss Hufctmulr. who survives
as his widow. Ho leaves llvo sisters.
