Frank Thompson, the attorney for
Dr. Pottle, who Is charged with prac
ticing veterinary surgery and medi
cine without a license. Is going to
make a murderous attempt on the law
compelling vctcrlnarlcs to take out
licenses. Thompson declares that tho
law, which was passed by tho Legis
lature of 1905, is unconstitutional, n
It provides thnt only such veterinarian
who practice In any town or suburb
with n population of over G00O Inhab
itants, must hnve licenses. This,
says Thompson, Is class legislation,
and he feels confident that the law
will be knocked out.
