, k There will be a free trip to Seattle given in each of the four districts above mentioned, it being one
of the rules of the contest that no two winners can be residents of the same district. Each candidate, how
ever, is entitled to receive votes from all the districts.
Four Separate and Distinct Contests
Offered Now.
The leader in each of the four districts mentioned will go to Seattle. You only have to compete
against the contestants in your district, but if you secure the highest individual vote over all you will have
the Honor of selecting the chaperone.
Free Trip to Seattle for Chaperone
In addition to winnine a free trip to Seattle for herself, the most successful candidate- in the four districts
will be privileged to select a chapcrjm to accompany her to S:attle. The BULLETIN to stund the
expense on the same basis as that of the contestants. The chaperone will be chosen by the candidate re
ceiving' the largest vote, irrespective of district.
Every Young Woman Is Eligible
To Compete
Who lives in Honolulu City or County, or any other part of the Territory. Persons living In any district or
town may vote for their favorite candidate, no matter from what district she is entered, providing the con
testant is a -resident of the territory included in the BULLETIN contest, using for the purpose, of
voting coupons obtained on subscriptions, or those clipped from the BULLETIN. Those who are
aireaay subsenbers to this oaper may secure votes in the contest by paying in advance as long as desired.
