draw tho bill and present It to the
Legislature.

As tho law Ltr.nds today, a leper
Is asked to present himself before the
Hoard for examination. Ho is permit
ted to select his own physician, v. ho,
together tho government physician,
shall mako a bacteriological examina
tion. Should these two physicians fall
to agreo as to his being a lejier, they
will select a third man to make an
other examination of tho suspect. ,
In other words, a leper cannot be
held by tho Board, under tho authority
of summons, which It Issues for his
appearance.
Dr. Wayson, during the discussion,
said that tho old segregation law was
tho best that ho ever knew. Tho oth
er members agreed ulth him.
Ab soon as tho proposed bill Is
drau, It will be submitted to the
Hoard, before Its presentation to the
Legislature.
