It is a cheap concoction and fraud, intended

BEWARE OF FRAUDS!
Duffy's Pure Malt Whiskey
is sold in sealed bottles only never in bulk.
A fac-simile of the genuine bottle is primed

our own patented bottle round, amber colored

IRWIN CUP RACE TO
BE SAILED SUNDAY.
New Military
League To
Start
The Military men nro sure tho
real thing in tho baseball line, und
they can be depended upon to keep
things going Jill the time. Tho lat
est and best news Honolulu fans
have heard for some time is that at
the Mulsh of tho present military
series a new league will be formed,
und one more team will enter for
the scries. Tho U. S. Engineers aro
the boys who have thrown down the
gauntlet to the rest of the military
men, und it Is reckoned that the
"pick nnd shovel" lads can put up
a dandy game of ball between spells
of digging nnd erecting Uncle Snm's
formications.
What with five military teams in
competition, there will be unlimited
Joy, nnd the games should prove Just
as exciting ns the present series arc
now doing. As most of the Cluatds
will have to go to the mainland for
the annual shoot, they wilt put a
substitute 100,111 In the field, and
rumor has It that this other bunch
of players Is almost as good as tbc
present team.
The new leagtio will Btart up ns
soon ns the pieseut seiles is finished,
nnd then tho fans will be treated to
some of the best ball ever seen In
Honolulu, The Interest taken in the
soldiers' games Is Increasing every
day, and regret Is being expressed
that the series is nearly pan. How
ever, no one can worry now, and
very soon the fans will be hard at
work doping up the form of the new
teams.
There Is a move on foot to post
pone the gamo tomorrow between
the -Marines and Eort Shaffer till
Sunday. It Is thought that with
the Intense Interest tli'.'t Is being
taken in the series that It would be
n pity to play a lino game on a Wed
nesday, when only a few people
could get off to watch tho game.
Therefore, although. It Is not definitely-
settled. It is very piollable
that some such arrangement will be
made. The only drawback Is that
there would nlso be n game at l.el
lehua, between the Cavalry und the
(luards, und much us ii man would
like to be In the two places at once,
It Is, unfortunately, Impossible.
Howccr, the town people want to
see ball lit home, bo everyone can
take their choice between the two
games one at Aula nnd the other
at S:holleld llarrucks. The (Ittaids
lire certainties, for the champion
ship now, but wait till the new
league, starts and watch the Engi
neers do the tilck with the rest of
the bunch.
On Sunday also the lnvlnclbles
will try conclusions with a basebulll
team fiom tho Japanese Tenuis
Club, und it remains to be seen how
thu racket wlctders will stack up
against Vlerru's bunch of unbeaten
