tees of the Chamber of Commerce
yesterday afternoon. Delegate Ka
lanlauaolo stated that although there
are over' one hundred surveys order
ed, that have not been received here,
tne rivers and harbors' committee
have announced their intention to
dose their bill February 1.

J. F. Morgan, president of tho
Chamber of Commerce, stated that
he had been notified by the autltu
bcrculosls committee that tho work
required more funds, as the funds
now coming In were not sufficient for
the magnitude of the work. A sum
of $100 a month from the Chamber
of Commorce for tho services of a
trained nurse was asked for, and as
Mr. Morgan considered that the
funds 'at the disposal of that body
were adequate to meet this require
ment, additional pi& should be given.
The matter was referred to a com
