With a Five Day Visit In
Y0SEM1TE NATIONAL PARK
VERNAL FALLS, IN YOSEMITE PARK.
Five popular women of Hawaii will be the guests of the Bulletin for a i,ix weeks' trip to the main
land during the summer. The chief points of interest to be visited during this trip will be the Yosemite
National Park, San Francisco, and places of interest near the great California metropolis.
At least five days will be spent viewing the wonders of the great national park, every point of van
,taRC for the -visitor being visited by the B u 1 1 e t i n party. On the way to the park and on the return from
there, the party will stop at the Hotel Manx in San Francisco. In all from one to two weeks will bo' spent ,
in San Francisco and vicinity. During, the time they arc in San Francisco tho Bulletin party will visit
everything of interest in the city. Mr. Arrol, assistant manager of the Manx who this spring spent several
months in Honolulu will personally look after the welfare and enjoyment of the party, both in the hotel
and about the city. This attention will not be merely a general one, but a cost particular one. He will
prepare for every day's visit there, pleasing means of entertainment, as only a hotel man can who knows his
city as Mr. Arroll knows San Francisco. .

The young ladies and the chaperone who gb on this trip will be selected by the Bulletin readers in
a great double voting contest. ' ,
Differing this year from contests of any previous year he chaperone for the party will not be selected :
by the Bulletin or by members of the party. She will be elected by popular vote as are all the other mem-' '',
bers of the travel party. The position of chaperone this year-will also differ from that of any other trips as
she isto be paid for the time she spends with the pqrty in addition to the pleasures of the summer's, trip.
Contestants securing one of these, trips are not compelled to take the trip at any particular time, and
they may o singly or in groups, and they may, if they desire, exchange the Yosemlte-Californla trip for
another of equal value. The B u 1 le t i n, however, gives the opportunity for all to travel together, M it
should be desired.

The contest is open to every woman of gjpd character now 'residing in the Tcrrifcry of Hawaii. The
only requirements in exception to that of charaoter is that ihe trip contestants the tyo-;ng lady, candk'utes
for the party must be single and the chaperone candidates,must be matrons,' . -.-

The contest for the election of the younif ladles will be conducted as during the fast contest. The Islands
will be divided into districts, and the young lady residing in one of these districts must be entered, as candi.
date from that district but she may be voted for or receive votes from any of the districts.
The candidates for chaperone will be candidates-at-lnrjc and will be nominated and voted for in all pw.ti
