boxes, transplanted, gratis 3017; pot

sold 24S8, gratis 73189776.
The sum of $30.60 was collected
for plants sold nnd the same has been
deposited with tho treasurer na a
realization.
The demand for trees Is Increas
ing nnd several large orders arc pn
fllo for trees to be delivered within
tho next five mouths. A few ot the
largest are given below: Honolulu
Plantation Co., 121,000 trees; Wala
lua Agricultural Co., 150,000; Ha
mnkua Mill Co., 6000; Kllauea Plan
tation Co., 10,000. Total, 287,000
trees.
In addition to the above, a numj
her of orders from homesteaders are
expected. ' Already thore have been
received from tho Thompson Settle
ment, Walohlnu, Kau, Hawaii, orders
for over 3000 trcea to bo delivered
as soon as possible The different
military camps and forts are also
drawing heavily upon the stock, and
county supervisors are applying for
quantities ot trees for road planting
