JUAREZ, Mexn May 11. General
Francisco Madero, the rebel leader, and
other prominent revolutionists today
formally announced tho organization
of the provisional republic and the pro
visional cabinet.
Hon. Vatquez Gomez, who has been
at the head of the most generally ac.
credited1 revolutionary Junta In tho
United States, is named as minister
of foreign affairs. General Madero
will proceed with the establishment
of his government as he finrts foot,
hold. The capital will be at Juarez
for the present.
Indications are that place negotia
tions with the federal omissary, Judge
Francisco Carbajal, will "be resumed
soon. Nearly 500 federals have been
taken prisoners. General Madero and
General Navarro, the defeated federal
leader, this morning took an automo
bile ride together around the town.
Cclonel Tamboral, a federal officer
killed in the fight, was buried this
morning with military honors by the
insurreetos. The rebels have captured
a great quantity of ammunition, 700
rifles and a number of field guns. The
dead and wounded are estimated at
300.
