quarry which was used by Metzger,
and the rate given by tho railroad to
Lord & Young Is tho same as offered
In tho first Instance 76 cents per ton.
The rate paid by Metzger was 90 cents
per ton, but at thnt time n complete
new equipment of cars, etc, had to be

between Messrs. Thurston nnd Dilling
ham, for the railroad, nnd Lord &
Young, of tho contracting firm, which
