tho renter of each tahlo was a French
basket, filled with daisies In thin
shade. After, luncheon each guest
was given u clny biibblo pipe and dif
ferent colored materials. The Idea
wna that each one of the young girls

wearing apparel, and the result of
the work was Judged und the one
who had succeeded In producing the
most stylish rostunio and the one de
signing a ludicrous toilette were
awarded prizes. The first prize was
a silver after dinner coffee spoon,

well. Miss Tholuia carried off the
prize (or the funniest costume and

set of Ihls city have been In a .whirl
of1 gafcty for tho past two months.
On account of most of the young tjlrls
not huvlng made their debut and still
attending school, thu entertainments,
consisting of dinners, luncheons,
dunces and picnics, have mostly been
of an Informal nature. None of the
entertainments given have been more
enjoyable than tho "picnic party"
