edition is similar to that of for
mer Bulletin Industrial edi
tions, in which were described
every sugar plantation proper
ty in Hawaii. This will be
done in the coming edition, but
in addition to that, much space
will bo dovoted to minoi indus
tiies, American business insti
tutions and people. The motive
and intent of the publication is
to show the Amciican side of
Island life, and to present
facts to members of Congioss
and mainland newspapers that
point the pi 1 01 of adverse leg
islation icgaiding Hawaiian
industiics. This edition will
help to counteiact the effect
of many mis-statements that
are constantly being made in
the StatSsirespecially the one
that the cfly people benefitted
by the American piotcctivc
policy, aie "Japanese and multi-millionaires,"
"American Hawaii" will be
divided into seven sections,
one for each of the font im
poitant islands ,one for "Plan
tation People," and a Honolulu
and Hilo section, Sketches
and pictuies of people and dif
ferent business activities,
make up many pages that arc
being piinted on good book
paper, to be bound with atti ac
tive illustrated cover,
