Dr. Craig, Mr. Sol. Harris and

terest is fuly identified with
the welfare of the parish,
neither of whom, except the
latter, were present at the
meeting referred to. Now if
these members will hold a
meeting, and after hearing
Gen. King's statemtent of tacts
as well as my own, decide thatl
I should lose the nmoney ex
pended y me two years ago
for the benefit of the frees
public schools of the parish,

would not coutlend against
their opinion, although " self
