About a score of the local Oddfel lows went to Spencer Brook last Mon^ day evening, where they were very hospitably entertained by their breth ren who live in that vicinity. The dance given by the Knights of the Maccabees last Friday evening was largely attended and was enjoyable as these parties always are. The Lutheran society plans to build a school house back of the church this spring. Charley Howard, who has had con siderable trouble with an injury to the ligaments of his knee, was abfe to get out last week without the use of crutches. H. B. John Heag, manager of the Wyanett Mercantile company's store, was in the village Tuesday evening to meet his father, who arrived on the north bound train to make him a visit. Hon. H. R. Mallette will speak to the farmers of Borgholm next Satur day evening on sugar beet culture. A meeting for that purpose will be held at the school house at Bock. Presley made a few remarks when the Carrie Nation band of Cambridge visited his drug store a few days ago. His Princeton acquaintances know pretty near what he said, although not present.
