mon school education. The amount
to be distributed will be : For the
first year, SS.000,000; for the sec
ond, $10,000,000; for the third,
$15,000,000, and then is will bo di
minished at the rate of $2,000,000
annually, until the cud of the
eighth year it will be discontinued.

great measure, which received not
only Republican support, but that
of such Democrats as Messrs.Brown
and Colquitt of Georgia, Garland
