steamer Strathclyde, sunk by the collision, many were

sengers on board, of whom eleven were saved and are
at Dovr. The total number lott is put at sixteen, in
addition to tha three before inaotioued. Tha Strath
clyda lies iu the pierway, about two miles off Ilovar,
her mast staudiug about twenty feet above tba Wa
fer. Two ladies and three gentlemen are reported
as picked up by a passing vessel bound for London.
