fruits and intertwined.
TWO RIBROX FLOWER TASES of most caique design with mazarine ground
aud geld ribbocs and gold Japanese sprays.
GARDEX SEATS, beautifully decorated with naturally colored chrysanthemums and
pink: fed ribccus; Also ditto ou celadon ground. Are very handsome garden ornaments.
FLOWER POTS AXD STAXDS of rare and beautiful design, with, mazarine ground
and colored clematis, with, birds fceaatifeHj- embossed. All of the above-mentioned are
very dScult pieces to produce on account of the Tarious combinations of color required,
necessitating separate firings for each color produced. Some of the pieces have split in
the k3n as ruany as eight times, so that when a piece is brought safely through the fixing
process, the Tslue is quite apparent. We wish, again to call especial attention to
TWO SLPKRB ETCE3XGS on porcelain placqne, hy well-known European Artists.
The cue is a Marine 1623 by Bailie, m Sepe3, and one cf the best examples of this most.
ceacate and woncenc! art, wtoch ts now nneergojng such 3 spirited revival in the
United States and Europe. The drawing in this picture is exceptionally good, and the
ccisrc-cearro effect rery dererly handled. The other represents a Coast Scene by Mar
trno, which s particularly noaceaHe for its free and unconventional treatment, and the
de&ate disiribatidc of tints. These are the first etchings on porcelain ever exhibited in
Eocaiulu. and are well worthy of a visit. The following choice articles of
BRIC A BRAC in Majolica and Glassware will afford some idea of the variety in this
Hue, viz : Flower-pets and Stands of all description; and designs, in all colors, beanti
