America's Favorite Slimmer and Winter Resort.
The site selected lor the Hotel del Monte, was in a lovely grove of pine, oak ami cetlar, the trees being efficiently scattered to admit of the adornment of the
grounds ly means of drive-ways, foot-paths, lawns and beds of flowers. A plat of 126 acres was set aside and enclosed as the hotel ground- while, 7000 acres more
were purchased for other purposes. The Hotel del Slonte is constructed in the modern Gothic style, and cost, with its fnrnitnre and other appointment" a quarter of i
million of dollars. Without question it is the handsomest watering-place hotel in America. The main hotel is 3S5 feet in length and 115 feet in width with wines.
There are three stories and additional floors in the broad towers. AH the rooms are lofty, light and airy, and all are of liberal size. There are 28 "suites"' of rooms on
the lower floor, in jtbc second-stery there arc 4S "suites," or about 100 rooms. In the remaining story there arc 13 ''suites" and 20 single rooms 65 njtartmcnts in all

telephonic communication between hotel and stable. Both hot and cold water arc carried through the hotel in pipes, and the house is provided with all tius modern ap
