Butler, at Marriott settlement, Ogden, and tried to force Butler's wile. in so doing he greatly abused her and killed one of her children and severely in jured another. He afterwards tried to es-ape. The rumor spread, and one of the citizens started in pursuit and met Butler on the red., who immediately joined in the pursuit. When within about a mile from the Telegraph offce at Ogden.
