PHOTOGRAPHIC CARD.
I TAKE pleasnrs la aanooneing to my old friends and
enstomers that after aa absence of two years, I
have again returned to resume the practice of the
PHOTOGRAPHIC ART m all its branches, having pur
chased the interest of my brother in the old establish
ed Gallery ia Cnton street, and having spent four
months at New York the past Summer to obtain folly
all the late Improvements in the art. I have painted,
renovated and enlarged the suite of Rooms throughout.
That my facilities are now better to produce first
class work than most Galleries caa boast of, and con
duce to tbe comfort of our patrons. I trust not only
to sustain the proud position the Gallery has hereto
fore sustained, bat to elevate It to a still higher stand
ard. I hare also engaged tbe services of Mr. COOK,
one of the best Photographers in the world, who took
tbe Pictures which obtained the first premium at the
World's Fair in London, in 1861, and I am determined
not only to make this the leading Gallery in the State,
but my work shall not be surpassed North or South,
and aow introduce to the public the following new
styles:
Imperial Photograph, India Ink,
. ; Tigenette, plain or colored,
Ivorytypes, "
Pastel portal Pictures, life ulxe.
Photographs on Canvass, life sixe,
Visiting Cards, full length plain,
Autograph Photographs, 18 taksn at one sitting.
Stereoscopes, on glass or paper,
' I still continue to make the Welainotype aad Am
bretype ss heretofore. The above styles are all ea
tirely acw la this city, except tbe Autograph Card,
whea bat one made at a sitting. AO who are ia want of
anything ia my line arc politely Invited to give my a
call before vtoiting elsewhere, when I will prove by.
secular demonstration the above facts.
Respectfully, F. N. HUGHES.
