?lEMONARCH COTTON MILLS
LOCATED
5lacb interest is heine evidenced
m the site selected for the Monarch
Cotton Mill. It has been decided
to locate this big 8200.000 cotton
mill in the easier? suburbs of the
iota, on the old fair ground lands.
The location is both beautiful and
idrantag^us, commanding a fine
position between two public roads,
and rLrht on the great ?Southern
Eai?road. East Union inhabitants
are happy over the Monarch's choice ,
realizing the fact that such an enter- j
wise is an a? Ivan tage to all enisse* ;
if industrious people. j

Yesterday (Sunday) was indeed a
delightful day. The same seemed
to have been a providential blessing
to church and Sunday School lovers*
It was a regular field" day, for the
Ministers and Elders. Beautiful
dresses and bonnets made a flue
show on yesterday. All of the
ciiUrohes had large and fine congre

say the least; and the singing was
enchanting, and christians were
made to rejoice. The 'same is said
of tue churches throughout the
Bounty. Formers are happy, mer
