Fox'b New American Theatre At this magnificent and popular temple, dedicated to histrionic art and general amusement, in addi tion to the ladies' performance that is given on every Friday evening, a grand family matinee has been arranged by the proprietor for to morrow (Good Friday) afternoon. The spark ling series of brilliant varieties which fill the programme at, this palatial establishment for this week produced a lively sensation in our local amusement-going community, resulting in crowded houses every night. Among the prin cipal attractions in the constellation of stars that nightly 6hed a halo of dazzling light over the patrons of the world's greatest variety theatre are, first, his Royal Highness Prince Cereto, whose surprising contortions are wit nessed in wonder as he assumes almost innu merable shapes and positions; then follow the "Wambold Bi other, with their wonderful troupe of trained dogs ana monkeys, while the native grace and daring of the male and female Parisian gymnasts In their aerial evolutions call forth the plaudits of the andlence, as well as the agility of the midgets of the SicgrUt Family, who can rafely be called the greatest prodigies In the juvenile acrobatic world. The Zanfrettas appear as the Clodoche troupe, as well as in the comic pantomime of the Skeleton Witness, and meet with merited applause. The ballets, led by the peerless Do Roea, the princess of danseuses, serve to add spice to the various other per formances. At toe Assembly Buildings Dr. Corry'e panorama of the Emerald Isle, entitled "Ire land in Light and Shade," will be exhibited this evening. A Grand Concert will be given at the Academy of Music on Thursday evening, April 13, by Beck's Philadelphia Band, No. 1.
