rights now hold andl owned by them in the
(:oodenough Horse Shoe Manufacturing Cornm
pany. and Anvil Horse Nail Company of the city
of New York, together with their exclusive
privileges to use and dispose of the said horse
shoes and nails in the States of Texas, Arkan
sas. Tenneisee. Alabama, Mississippi and Lou
isiana for ten years from April 17. 1878.
Eighty shares of said capital stock are hereby
taken by ithe ubsiirlbers. nll the number sit

ness. The remaining shares are to be offlred
for subscription at. one hundred dollars per
share, to be paid at such time and in such man
ner as may be determined by the Board of Di

time and in such manner as said Board of Di
rectors may determine.
All the power= of this corporation, except as
herein limited. shall be vested in a Board of
Directors. composed of four stockholders, any
two of whom shall constitute a quorum for the
transaction of b siness. Each director shall own
and hold in his own name at least five shares of
the capital stock of the corporation. The first
Board of Directors shall be elected Immediately
after the signing of these presents and shall
hold office until their successors shall have
been duly elected. On the first Monday of May.
1879,, and annually thereafter, ten days previous
