lace is used for the sleeves,
which are finished with the
new pointed "handkerchief"

Made of very lustrous satin finished charmeuse, with low cut
bodice of shadow lace, draped in surplice effect; sleeves, also
of the lace, are finished with deep pointed ruffles. Latticed
embroidery, in crystal beads and bugles, adds a note of elegance
to the gown and crystal buttons trim the sleeves atid skirt.
The skirt, its long, graceful draperies finished with crystal tassels,
may be worn "entraine" or, for dancing, may be looped up and
caught at the wrist-line; it then appears to be a round length
skirt on the smart "silhouette" lines.
