Dr. Joseph Fraenkel, who died Jan,
6, 1921, left a gross estate of $340,784
and a net eatate of 1S2,1S(, as an
appralial filed yesterday by the
Deputy State Comptroller showed.
Many debt, the largest of which was
one of $29,224 to Kuhn, Loeb & Co.,
accounted for the difference between
his gross and net estates.
Dr. Praenkel's widow, Mme. danna
walska. now the wife of Alexander
Hmllh Cochran, received $113,148 of
the estate. Including an enulty of
$38,111 In the house at No. 101 East
04th Street, from which her tresnt
husband recently had moit of the fur
nlturo removed on a writ of replevin.
The remaining part of Dr. Fraenkel'
net estate, $40,717. went to his
brother. Louis Fraenkel, of No. 1(5
