Overtures have been made, it was rumored
yesterday, to porctsMM one of the buildings in

transaction, it was further said, included the
purchase of additional land and the construc
tion of an annex to the structure. About
£•000.000 was Involved in the deal. The Orient
Building at the southeast corner of Wall and
