Know Future Tasks.

In command of vessels who are nearing
the compl? tion of their two years of sea
duty. It is intended to arrange matters
so that officers will know far In advance
of the duties to which they are to be as
plf?.ed. The first orders will have to do
with the selection of captains of the*navy
yards at Mare Island, California, and Bos?
ton.

again set In on the northern Pacific Coast,

were ordered Sunday morning. There is also
a moderate depression over the extreme North?
east, and light local snow? and rains fell from
the lower lake region eastward. Over the re?

tinue?, with clear weather, except In Texas
and New Mexico, where there were local rains.
Temperatures remain moderately low from
