he paid could not be learned yesterday.
lt is known that Mr. Zubow has been
asking $1,230,000 for the structure,
which is fifteen stories high. The
iand belongs to the Phipps estate and
was leased in July, 1919, for twenty

for the first period of $150 a square
foot. which is said to be the highest
price ever paid for the use of Madi
&on Avenue realty. Tho lensehold was
