Seventy-five thousand people took part In or witnessed the boardwalk frolic. Scores of the hotels had special dancing and dinner parties and there were balls at the Casino and Arcade. The annual harvest dance waa held at the New Monterey Hotel last evening nnd hundreds of young folk In masque, leaving tne tnrong of merrymakers on the boardwalk, took part The big ball room waa decorated with cornstalks, pumpkins, golden rod, apples and other farm products. To-morrow evening there will be a sacred concert at the Monterey. Among the large hotels which will remain open several weeks longer are the Lafayette, New Monterey, Columbia. Al bion.
