m I' ' MUNYON'S f PAW PAW Gives Exhilaration ! Without Intoxication An Absolute Cure For Insomnia, Nervousness, and All Stomach Troubles It Hakes OldFolks Feel Young and Weak Folks Feel Strong i, I want the Public to know the Truth, know It as I know It.MUNYON. T believe there is a cure for every dis- easeZ believe that human life can be prolongedI believe that people should die ik only from old age, .and I also believe and know that my Faw Paw Remedy will not only relieve much suffering, but add many years to the average life. In my opinion dyspepsia and indigestion are the cause of most ailments. Dyspepsia moans nervousness, sleeplessnessimpur e blood, eatarrh. sluggish liver, kidney and heart affections. N o person can be happy no person can see the bealities of life and enjoy Its pleasures who suffers from any form of stomach trouble. I cannot recommend Paw Paw too high ly for all forms of indigestion and ner vousness. This remedy also acts wonder ful ly well on the liver, blood and kidneys, but I believe its greatest office is its mar velous effect upon the stomach and nerves. It is really a nerve food and vi talizes It gives pxhilnration without intoxica tion. It does what whisky or beer cannot do. I t relieves the nerve tension. It stimulates every fiber and puts in to active force every tissue of the body. It lifts one into the altitude of hope and holds him there. It is a, bridge than enables the weak and sickly to cross dangerous places. I t feeds and nourishes the nerves, so that the blo od corpuscles will be constantly re vitalized and the losses of ihe vital forces will be almost imperceptible. In other words, it will supply a sufficient quantity of life matter, to take the place of waste. Instead of irritating the nerves and stomach, it soothes and strengthens them. Almost every human being some time requires a stimulation. NOT A N ALCO- HOLIC STIMULANTnot. a stimulant that will buoy up for a moment and then but. a stimulant, that will give an abiding east down to lower depths of depression, strength and lasting force. M y Paw Paw aids the stomach to di gest, hearty foods and to make good, ri ch blood, which, again in turn, strengthens the nerves, vitalizing all t he tissues, and Boon produces muscles, tissues, bone. It is my opinion that the clergymen in this country could do no greater service for the cause of temperance than to ad vocate the general use of my Paw Paw. for by its use drunkenness -would be les sened and the morals and health of the community greatly improved. A wife whose husband la addicted to drinking, can do nothing better for her self or family than to get a bottle of this Paw Paw, ancl whenever her husband feels the need of a tonic, give him a table spoonful of Paw Paw. She will find that he will soon lose all cravings for strong drinkthat his appetite will soon become natural, that his'nervousness and longing for excitement will disappear and he will be perfectly satisfied without alcoholic atimulants and harmful beverages. Taft for the vice presidential nomination and his Ohio friends are. somewhat per turbed at the prospect. They prefer that Governor Taft should awajt the time when he can be a. candidate for president in his own right. Governor Taft will become the secretary ct war next January, and as a prominent member of the president's cabinet he will be more conspicuously in the public eve than at present. His ambition generally in understood to be the supreme court of the United States, and it has been cur rently believed that whec he was drafted by President McKinley to fill the arduous duties of head of the Philippine commis sion, it was with the tacit understanding that he would go to the supreme court later. Butler, Pa., Nov. 80.This town la now thoroly organized and in charge of a general relief committee to wres tle with the conditions that have arisen thru the epidemic of typhoid which developed on Sept. 15, and which, so far, has resulted in twenty-eight deaths, while 1,560 persons have been stricken. Dr. James Crossman broke down under the strain yesterday and to-day has typhoid fever. Four doctors are now sick, the others being Drs. Winter, Harris and McAdoo. Nearly $48,000 was raised at the town meeting on Saturday, but it is not expected that the scourge will'subside until spring and the expenses of the relief committee will amount to about $1,000 a week. Responses to appeals for aid in the way of nurses and money have been prompt and liberal. Ten nurses came yesterday from Pittsburg and more are to follow. Offers of nurses from Newcastle and Cleveland and financial aid from Philadelphia and Pittsburg have been accepted by trie committee. Nurses from outside towns will be re quired to bring credentials from their hospitals. All druggists in the city will fill pre scriptions at cost and the undertakers have tendered the use of their ambu lances free. LAKEFIELD DDCK CASE Defendants Convicted at Jackson Sentence Def erred and an Ap- peal to Be Taken. Special to The Journal. Jackson, Minn., Nov. 30.The jury in the Lakefieid duck case returned a verdict of guilty. At the request of T . J . Knox, the attorney for the de fendants, the sentence was withheld until Feb. 2. The case will be ap pealed. The defendants were William Kerr and a n employe, Robert Poole, and they were charged with bems impli cated in an attempt to smuggle game birds to the Chicago market. The case was prosecuted at the instance of the state fish and game commission. S. F . Fullerton, state game warden, says the conviction of the defendant strikes right at the head of an or ganized band of pot hunters equal to the moonshiners of the Tennessee mountains. They were convicted of having 2,000 birds in their possession, and under the law the fine Is $10 a bird, which means a fine of $20,000. While this seems excessive, there are decisions on record to sustain It, a fine of over $2(T0,000 having been held valid in New York. Parker of the New York court of appeals has made a statement to a. re porter for the Brooklyn Kagle which Is taken by his friends to be tantamount to a declaration that he would not accept a nomination for the presidency from a di vided democracy. "When a copy of Mr. Cleveland's letter and the Brooklyn Eagle's advocacy of himself were shown him, Judge Parker said: These mntters am interesting. I cannot, taow pver. roinment upon them nor speak of relations to any political candidacy in which I may be placed r\v others or talk of politics at all. A Fortune in Sixteen Hours. During the construction of the in take tunnel at Milwaukee a storm arcse on Lake Michigan, which threat ened to break through the bedrock into the tunnel, as the crib was not completed. An expert diver was sum moned, who worked in this death trap below water for sixteen hours and saved the tunnel. On emerging from the water he was given $16,000 in cash for his sixteen hours' work. It was his knowledge, not his strength nor bare theories that saved Milwau kee a fortune.
