is valued at $3,000,000 and the interest
is payable on the first of January
and the first of July. Bonds
are hi denominations of $1,000, $500

eleven-Story modern fireproof buildIn*.
containing 310 rooms and 310
baths, covering approximately 15,h
000 square feet, located at Fourteenth
and K streets northwest, imt
mediately, facing Franklin square
and running back to a thirty-foot
alley. The plant is to be operated
by hotel experts and is built to suppiy
demand for accommodations in
this city which has grown in volume
during the past ten years.
The F. II. Smith Company was
established in 1$7J and throughout
Its business career of forty-eight
years in handling first mortgage
loans', mostly on business property
In the city of Washington, it has
never had a loss of principal or
interest to any of its investors.
