Also, ninety acres of Wood land nearly adjoining.-. V r - On the first named piece of Land is the justly celebrated " MAGNOLIA SALT SULPHUR SPRING," analyzed by one of the first Chemists of the country, arM which analy sis is said to develop the most rare and valuable alterative and other mineral properties of any Water either in, this country or Europe ; and its efficacy in mauy chronic and other diseases, and its unusually healthy location, should attract Capitalists to themerits of this property, lor an ex tensive Eastern Watering Piace. The Proprietor states that the sales of the Water alone, although not introduced generally, beyond a few of the sur rounding counties, hare been worth jllOO per year, aud he thinks by a little enterprise they may reaeh an amount in a short time thai will be of more importance than all other considerations The Land is rich in vegetable matter, and underlayed with a rich decomposed thell marl, reaching in some places within four and a half feet of the surface, and the Farm would make one of the best Trucking Farms in the county, rom the fact of its fertility and easy access to market. The improvements will accommodate seventy-five visi tors, and arc in good order, together with all necessary out buildings. The whole improvements cost at least $50110. THE UNDERSIGNED ARE PUBLISHING A SE RIES of Dissected Maps, to which they would invite the at trni ion of parents, teachers and others. We have : ow ready, Mitchell's Dissected Map of the United States. " .. .. .. Easter,, " . . Middle " " " " " Soul hern " u Western " The shove arc made from Mitchell's latest Maps, and al though issued onlv ten weeks silica, we are now using the FIFTH THOUSAND. We are constantly receiving orders ard recommendations frow variolic purls of the United Statss, and numerous in quiries for them, for Schools and District Libraries, as well as from the trade. They are neatly put up in book form, and will be found to be instructive i well as amusing for old and young. The effort required to put them together without the key map, (which should not be referred to) will serve to indeli bly impress on the mind ibe relative locality of the States, as well as their respective boundaries. WHAT THE PAPERS SAY. Better for children than a bushel of the dissected pic tures gotten up merely for amusement. A child will never tire of these maps, and while he is amusing; himself he will be insensibly acquiring a knowledge of the geography of his country. Zimi'i Ilmtld. Thev combine instrnctirn with amusement, and are ad mirably calculated to impress on the mind of the young, the locality of the different parts of their own country. They make study attractive, ami a young pel son will leurn more in a single hour's amusement with these maps, thau in hours of hard study of the ordinary ones. J'iren. Journal. Yon cannot tench geography in any way so effectually as by setting Ihe pupil to construct the map from these "dis sected parts. " Itoltpthdmt." Exceeding valuable in imparting novelty and interest to a useful study. Troy Timet. An agreeable contrivance for blending amusement with instruction. Trdmne. In putting these maps together, which children delight to do, liter will leurn "geography without u master " and keep as quiet as mice. Home Jouriml. Every lamily should possess this series of maps that the younger members may profitably while away their leisure hours. Nothing can be more useful. Jii-chf Ur Union. An ingenious device, for teaching geography. Kranfif-litt. Physic and geography were equally distateful in our youthful days, but Migar coated pills have induced childien to cry for the first, and we venture to assert that the inge nious originators of this idea, have rendered the socond'as attractive. YanLtt Jitade. A valuable acquisition to a private library. Prethitfr'son.
