With the idea that Harry Wal
dron, the missing juror in the
Hyde case, may have returned to
his former home in Roswell, N.
Juror whose unprecedented act
in escaping from jury room has
halted Hyde murder trial and
may cause the undoing of eight
weeks of work, involving thou
sands of dollars loss to the state.
M., the-local authorities today
communicated with the police of
New Mexico and. Texas, request
ing that they maintain a strict
watch for the missing man and
report immediately if he is found.
One woman has been discover
ed here who claims tchave seen
the juror on the day he disap
peared, but the authorities do not
place much credence in her story.
In the hope that Waldron may;
return or be found, Judge Porter
field has announced he will hold
the jury for a week, pending his
