THE FARCE PLAYED OUT

or non-partisan spirit in munici
palities cannot be overestimated.
The farce, of conducting 'local
elections on national issues is
played out, and it is a mighty
hopeful sign for the future that
men everywhere are beginning to
look at political facts with their
eyes, instead of their prejudices.
