And about the news in The Day Book that the newspapers never

. The Day Book is a combination daily magazine and,newspaper
tat the price of a newspaper. It is not sold on the streets or
newstands. It is delivered only to regular subscribers at their
homes.
Compare it with any Chicago newspaper, and you will find it
publishes more reading matter of interest and value to men, women
and childrenthan any daily newspaper in Chicago.

BEWARE OF UNCLEAN
HANDS
The Pennsylvania Society for
the Prevention of Tuberculosis,
sends out the following warning
relative to unclean hands:
"Keep your hands clean. Wash
them often. The dirt that you
can see on them is bad enough,
but the dirt that you can't see is
still worse. You might work all
day in the garden with your
hands covered with soil, but this
would not necessarily be harmful.
The carpenter, bricklayer or
plasterer dirties his hands while
at work without being in any
great danger.
"Suppose, however, you have

or that you have been in the
neighborhood of sewer water, or
-anywhere else that germs are
jsure to be.
c "Your hands may not appear tq
be soiled, but they are danger
ously dirty. Many persons con
tinue to be carriers of typhoid
long after they have recovered
from the disease. Scientists say
