CHURCH FIRE THOUGHT
T OBE REVENGE PLOT
; Fort, Worth, TexC, Feb. 5. It
is suspected that the fire which
destroyed the First Baptist
church yesterday was part of a
) "pIot against it's pastor, Rev. J.
Investigation has disclosed
that Rev. Norris had received let
ters threatening liim with death
and blowing up of his church.
The pastor led a vice v'crusade
recently, and a fortnight ago an
attempt was made to -take v his
life, two shots being fired at him'
as he sat in his home.
A large reward has been offer--'
ed for the arrest of the persons
responsible for the church fire.
The minister and his family will
leave the city. ,
The greatest offense of a Dyak
(Borneo) is to lie. Can't have
any courts over there.
