A Sympathetic Pair.
A man wearing a yellow tie
with scarlet dots was riding to
town on a suburban train. A.s he
rode he kept looking pityingly at
a man across the aisle who wore
a green tie 'with lavender stripes.
Finally the man with the stripes
said:
"You keep looking at me. as
though yo.u thought I bought this
tie. I wish to have you know" this
tie is not my taste at all. My sis
ter gave it to me Christmas and I
have to wear it. She lives next
door to me."
"Wasn't nothing about your,
tie at air," said the man with dots
"My wife gave me mine." St,
