Angeles, enmeshed in a tangled
mass o f circumstances identify
ing 'the supposed Chicago girl
slain in' a" bungalow in the Cali-
fornfa city as several different
people,, are still in the dark as to
the correct name of" the dead

Of one thing only are they rea
sonably sure. She was ffom Chi
cago. Beyond that is mystery.
Mrs;." L. ,A. Keller, an. aged
woman of Los Angeles, viewed
j-the body and said she believed it
vas4hat of her daughter, who
formerly lived in Chicago. This
would Account for the label of a
Chicago. department store found
in herclothes. Mrs. Keller said
her daughter's married life was
unhappy.
