turbances in Baseball Like the Ty Cobb Case and the
Detroit Team's Strike.
(Editor's Note Ty Cobb's assault on an insulting spectator,
Ty's subsequent suspension and the strike of his teammates on the
Detroit cfub almost resulted in a catastrophe to baseball. Perhaps -the
end is not yet. Be that as it may, what shall be done to prevent r
such trouble in the future? The editor of The Day Book asked a
number of prominent sporting editors in major league cities for;
their opinions, with the following tesult:) "
What organized baseball needs today."
