TEACHING FISH TO SWIM
If there is anything a fish is
supposed to do from the time it
is born it is to know how to
swim. But some fish have to be
taught how to Swim. Director-
W. E. Mehan, of the Philadelphia
aquarium, after a series of ex
periments with baby trout, made
the statement that many kinds of
fish must acquire the art of swim
ming, just as birds learn to fly.
